Kgs elevaksjon 2019

“KGs elevaksjon” is a student-run fundraiser that collects money for different causes each year. The video above was made for the 2019 fundraiser where the students at KG collected money for projects in Bangladesh. Project number one was economic support to develop schools in the countryside so that the children, especially girls, will have a good foundation for further education. In countries like Bangladesh, the rate of child marriage is extremely high, but girls with as little as primary school education get married later and have fewer, and healthier children. As a part of the fund raiser, the students who participate in the fund raiser organize activities in the school yard for all the students at KG. Here they can participate in several games ranging from sumo wrestling to sponge throwing. The video above was made to showcase the mood at the school during the fundraiser and some of the ways the students collect money for the projects.
